Facilities Issue Priority Guidelines
When adding an issue to the facilities deck, please use the following priority levels:
🟢 Question or observation with no need for immediate attention -Issues
that do not require immediate attention. These can be monitored and
scheduled for repair during regular maintenance without impact to business
operations or safety.
🟡 Risk or Issue but no business or personnel impact – Issues
that require attention but are not currently unsafe and do not
significantly impact business operations. These should be scheduled
for repair, but they do not need emergency callouts.
- 🔴 Critical Risk or Issue must be fixed today - Issues
that are unsafe or require immediate attention to prevent
serious risk or disruption. These must be treated as urgent and may
require an emergency callout.
If an issue that is Low (green) or Medium (yellow) is
incorrectly logged as Red, it may trigger an emergency call-out (e.g.,
for a plumber or other tradesperson). Emergency bookings are significantly more
expensive and should only be used when necessary. Correctly classifying issues
helps us keep the workplace safe while avoiding unnecessary costs. Facilities Issue Priority Guidelines
Important: Misclassifying
Low or Medium issues as High can trigger unnecessary emergency callouts,
leading to significantly higher costs. Only High priority issues should
be handled as emergencies.
